Playbill Pride in Times Square - June 25, 2022
Salem performed several songs in Times Square with the Trans Entertainment Guild for Playbill Pride - "a weekend-long event bringing together stage and screen stars, Broadway shows, LGBTQIA+ non-profits, and more to... the heart of Broadway."

"The Phoenix Trans Chorus of NYC brings a message of hope in this uncertain holiday season. Led by a principal cast of TGNC performers, members of the chorus are joined by ally artists from the Broadway community to lift their voices together, backed by a 9-piece orchestra of professional musicians from the New York City area.

The Phoenix Trans Chorus of NYC was founded in 2020 in the midst of the COVID pandemic by Anessa Marie, who serves as the artistic director for the group. Our goal is to provide support, visibility, and community for all in the TGNC community who wish to join us. If you're interested in being a part of what we do, please feel free to reach out!

Songwriting Workshop!
Will be hosted at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Center on Sept. 18.
All trans youth are encouraged to participate!
I will be bringing my ukulele, and sharing my songwriting process (from conception to recording), as well as my experiences breaking into the Indie music scene as a transgender musician.
